Fränkisches Seenland Fischerfest am Altmühlsee

The 11th edition of the Fränkisches Seenland Fischerfest in 2025 once again confirmed the festival's importance as an autumn highlight in the Franconian Lake District. Thousands of visitors flocked to the Wald am Altmühlsee festival grounds to sample local fish in its many variations and enjoy the family program.

Saturday opened at 11:30 AM with welcoming remarks, and Lissyfandermichl provided live music in the afternoon. Sunday began with a tent service at 10 AM, the Shanty Choir performed at 1 PM, and village folk music was played in the afternoon. Both days featured fish specialties, crafts, the air aquarium, and the fishing flea market. Admission was free – festival hours were 11 AM to 5 PM daily.
