Overview

The Strausberg Frühlingsfest 2025 invited the population of the city and the Märkisch-Oderland district to the traditional Maypole erection and Maibock tapping in the market square. Accompanied by live music and a children's festival with the Strausberg fanfare band, the event once again established itself as a popular season opener.

In 2025, the Frühlingsfest once again followed the established ritual: Maypole erection on the evening of April 30th, Maibock tapping by the mayor, live music, and food stalls until late at night. The Energie-Arena, with the fanfare band, offered a lively children's festival parallel to the adult program in the old town.

For years, the festival has been the unofficial start of summer in Strausberg — anyone who wants to enjoy city life again after a long winter break comes to the market square on April 30th.
