Edition 2025 — FOstival
The third edition of FOstival took place on June 28, 2025, at Königsbad Forchheim. In 2025 too, admission was free for young people aged 12 and over. Young bands from the region performed on stage, complemented by a colourful supporting programme of sports, creative workshops, and catering at youth prices.
In 2025, FOstival confirmed its established place in Forchheim's youth culture event calendar. Organised by the city's youth services and the youth parliament, the festival attracted young concert-goers from across the region to Königsbad. As in previous years, admission was free, with discounted food and drinks offered via registration vouchers.
Young bands from the Forchheim area and the Fränkische Schweiz shaped the programme, supplemented by hands-on activities and workshops. The concept proved successful again: a newcomer stage, low-threshold access, and a relaxed summer atmosphere – a preview of the KulturSommerQuartier, into which FOstival is integrated.
