Edition 2025 — Forest Metal Open Air
The Forest Metal Open Air Festival 2025 took place at the end of August on the forest site on the outskirts of Bad Wörishofen. Six days of camping and four days of live program with bands from the entire metal spectrum – the intimate festival atmosphere, limited to 999 tickets, also characterized the 2025 edition.
The Forest Metal Open Air 2025 continued the concept of Metalhead Agency: small festival, short distances, clear commitment against discrimination. Bands from Heavy Metal, Death Metal, Hard Rock, Black Metal, and Metalcore shaped the program, complemented by the traditional Wednesday Party Day with free entry.
Bad Wörishofen offered the unusual setting of a Kneipp spa town with forest camping and an Alpine foothills backdrop – a combination that has made the festival a hidden gem in the German metal scene.
