Overview

In April 2025, the Food Truck Festival Bamberg also attracted several thousand visitors to Maximiliansplatz. Three days of international street food trucks, live music, and family entertainment in the heart of the UNESCO World Heritage city — a proven mix that organizer Funtastic GmbH has made a festival tradition.

The 2025 Food Truck Festival in Bamberg once again confirmed the format's appeal: street food from around the world, curated truck selection, professional organizer logistics, and free admission — an almost perfect concept for an urban weekend event.

As always, visitors came from Bamberg itself, from the entire Upper Franconia region (Forchheim, Coburg, Kulmbach, Bayreuth, Lichtenfels), and also from neighboring regions (Erlangen, Nuremberg, Würzburg). Regional bands and solo artists alternated on the festival stage, children had fun on the bouncy castle or with face painting, and adults enjoyed the culinary world tour against the backdrop of the World Heritage site. Admission was free, as always.
