The 2025 edition of the Foil Festival Fehmarn took place on the Pentecost weekend, solidifying its reputation as Europe's largest Wingfoil beach fair. Over 40 manufacturers were present at Südstrand, the Open German Championship Wingfoil Freestyle offered top-level competition, and thousands of visitors tested equipment for free or learned Wingfoiling in crash courses.

Review: Foil Festival Fehmarn 2025

For the fifth consecutive year, Pentecost 2025 transformed the Südstrand of the Baltic Sea island of Fehmarn into the European Wingfoil hub. The event grounds behind the FehMare accommodated over 40 manufacturer stands, alongside competition zones on the water, a calm zone playground with pumpfoil ramps, and a beach camp right on the beach.

Sportingly, the Open German Championship Wingfoil Freestyle and the Winger of the Sea One Hour Edition were the main attractions. In parallel, the beach fair with free material tests, crash courses, and a beach café atmosphere attracted thousands of watersports fans from all over Germany, Scandinavia, and Central Europe. Admission was, as usual, free.
