Edition 2025 — Altenburg-Nobitz Airfield Festival
The 2025 Airfield Festival once again brought thousands of aviation fans to Altenburg-Nobitz Airfield. Over two days, there were aerobatic demonstrations, vintage flights, scenic flights for visitors, and family programs. The Flugsportverein Altenburger Land e.V. organized the well-established format with airshows, catering, and hands-on activities.
Airfield Festival 2025 in Altenburg-Nobitz
As every year, Altenburg-Nobitz Airfield became an open-air festival venue for a weekend in 2025. Aerobatic programs with historical and modern aircraft, vintage flights, formations, scenic flights, and family activities characterized the weekend. The organizer, Flugsportverein Altenburger Land e.V., once again attracted a five-figure number of visitors to the airfield — one of the largest open-air events in Altenburger Land.
The 2025 edition also laid the groundwork for the ambitious program in 2026, with the planned Antonov AN-2 parachute record attempt and the German Armed Forces' A400M fly-in.
