Edition 2025 — Flosser Kirwa
The Flosser Kirwa 2025 took place from Friday, August 22, to Monday, August 25. The traditional Kirchweih Sunday on August 24 on the market square, with church services, a concert, and the performance of the Flosser Landwehr, formed the contemplative highlight, while the festival tent in Oberndorf once again became the party center of the Northern Upper Palatinate.
In 2025, the market town of Floß celebrated the Flosser Kirwa from Friday, August 22, to Monday, August 25. The party weekend began on Friday on the festival grounds in Oberndorf with live music. The traditional Kirchweih Sunday on August 24 on the market square started with church services, followed by a concert by the market band, a beer tapping by Mayor Robert Lindner, and the performance of the historic Flosser Landwehr with salute shots. With a children's carousel, market stalls, and exuberant festival tent atmosphere, the Kirwa once again confirmed its reputation as one of the largest folk festivals in the Northern Upper Palatinate.
