Overview
The Flossenbürger Kirwa was celebrated with an extended run in 2025: For five days in August, the Kirchweih festival attracted visitors with a colorful program. From Kirwa Friday to Kirwa Monday, the festival at the grounds offered its opening, live music, a brass band, and lived Kirwa customs culminating in the traditional Frühschoppen. The Kirwa was supported by Murphy's Kirwa Stammtisch, the Burschenverein, and other local associations. The Kirwa once again underscored its status as a social highlight in the Neustadt an der Waldnaab district in the northern Oberpfalz, state of Bavaria.
