Overview

The Flensburger Weihnachtsmarkt 2025 once again attracted thousands of visitors from Schleswig-Holstein, Hamburg, and Denmark to the old town on the bay. Six weeks of Scandinavian-inspired market activities with Tallinpunsch at the World's Smallest Bar, around 60 huts, and the characteristic Hygge atmosphere of northern Schleswig-Holstein.

Review of the 2025 Christmas Market

The 2025 edition of the Flensburger Weihnachtsmarkt also adhered to the proven format: around 60 Nordic-inspired huts on Holm, Nordermarkt, Südermarkt, and Große Straße, six weeks of market season, and the motto 'Hygge, Herz & Lichterglanz' (Hygge, Heart & Sparkle) fully realized.

The 'World's Smallest Bar' with its traditional Tallinpunsch once again proved to be a pilgrimage site for thousands of guests. The combination of Scandinavian DNA, the maritime backdrop of the bay, and the proximity to the Danish border once again made the market one of Northern Germany's most attractive Christmas destinations.
