Overview

The 2025 edition of the neighborhood flea market in the small Bauhaus settlement Lokstedt took place on May 18, 2025. Residents set up stalls in their front gardens between Beethovenallee, Julius-Vosseler-Straße, Vizelinstraße, and Repgowstieg. Assortment: vintage items, books, furniture, toys, tableware, and plants from private households. Free admission.

The 2025 edition, as usual, attracted strollers from Eimsbüttel, Lokstedt, and the nearby city area around Hagenbeck Zoo. In summery weather, visitors spent the morning wandering between the front gardens of the Bauhaus settlement, often discovering the architectural uniqueness of the neighborhood for the first time.

The market remained true to its character: no professional setup, no central organization, but a volunteer-run neighborhood initiative. This makes it one of the most authentic flea market formats in the state of Hamburg – far from the mainstream.
