Overview
The Fischerfest of the Anglergemeinschaft Haberland 2025 took place as usual on a late spring weekend in Kirchendemenreuth. Club members served their guests at the club waters in the Haberland district with fresh trout, fish on a stick, and smoked carp.
Proven Club Festival in the Upper Palatinate
As every year, the 2025 Fischerfest was all about village roots and angling culture at the club pond. The Anglergemeinschaft Haberland organized the festival independently – as is typical for club festivals in this region.
Angling Club as a Cultural Bearer
In the Neustadt an der Waldnaab district, angling clubs are important pillars of village life. They maintain the waters, ensure the population of native fish species, and organize club festivals that attract visitors far beyond their own membership.
