Overview

The Fischerfest Gaffelrigg 2025 took place from July 18th to 20th — for the first time without a cultural contribution, in honor of Greifswald's 775th city anniversary. 45 museum and traditional sailing ships, three stages, "Ryck in Flammen", Ryckhangeln World Championship, and a SEAT Rock & Pop Night with the Hamburg band TRIPOD.

For Greifswald's 775th city anniversary, the Fischerfest Gaffelrigg 2025 was a birthday gift to citizens and guests: the €5 daily cultural contribution was waived. From July 18th to 20th, 2025, around 45 museum and traditional sailing ships as well as modern yachts gathered in Wieck.

The fiery start was on Friday, July 18th, with the SEAT Rock and Pop Night featuring the Hamburg band TRIPOD and the "Ryck in Flammen" show at 10:30 PM. On Saturday, Sebastian Hämer, the party band Skyline, and DJ Alex Megane performed on the Sonnentanz Festival stage, hosted by Dörthe Graner (NDR 1 Radio MV). The Gaffelrigg ship parade started on Saturday from 1:00 PM through the Wieck Bridge. In parallel, the ZK10 Cutter Regatta, Ryckhangeln World Championship, canoe polo, children's carousels, a 40-meter chain carousel, and the new FLYOVER action ride took place.
