In 2025, the FIM Flat Track World Championship did not yet visit Teterow. However, the Bergring-Arena has hosted international track racing events multiple times in previous years, which is why the FIM classifies Teterow as a venue with a strong tradition in track racing. The premiere of the World Championship round in Teterow will take place in 2026.
In 2025, the Bergring-Arena Teterow was not yet on the calendar of the FIM Flat Track World Championship – the World Championship visit to Teterow is a premiere for 2026. Nevertheless, the Bergring has a long tradition in track racing: since 1930, grass track and speedway races have been held here, and the arena has repeatedly hosted high-caliber international racing events.
Building on this tradition, Teterow was selected by the FIM in 2026 as the venue for a World Championship round.
