The 2025 open-air cinema season by filmRaum took place in August in Stadtpark Eimsbüttel. Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays featured the arthouse main program, and Fridays the family program. Wireless headphones served as the sound technology, with a maximum of 300 guests per screening — one of Hamburg's most distinctive open-air cinemas.

2025 Review

In 2025, filmRaum again opted for the proven weekly rhythm: four days with screenings in Stadtpark Eimsbüttel. The wireless headphone technology remained the technical hallmark — indispensable due to noise protection regulations, and simultaneously an auditory advantage. The film selection ranged from independent productions and arthouse classics to occasional family comedies on Friday evenings.

The Eimsbüttel district, within the borough of the same name, is one of Hamburg's most densely populated areas — the open-air cinema utilizes the Stadtpark's green space as a rare open-air oasis in western Hamburg.
