The 29th edition of the Film Festival Turkey/Germany took place in March 2025 in Nuremberg. As in previous years, the festival curated a dense program of feature film and short film competitions, film landscapes, and special events across four venues in the KunstKulturQuartier.

In 2025, the Film Festival Turkey/Germany once again brought together filmmakers from Turkey and Germany in Nuremberg. Four venues – Filmhaus, KommKino, Tafelhalle, and CineCittà – became the focal point for Turkish-German cinema during the festival.

The feature film competition, short film competition, and the Öngören Prize for Democracy and Human Rights were once again central. With the 2025 edition, the organizers also looked ahead to the major 30th-anniversary celebration in 2026.
