Edition 2025 — Fight Cancer Festival
The premiere of the Fight Cancer Festival took place on June 14, 2025, at the Hofstube Gut Blockshagen in Mielkendorf. Around 200 visitors celebrated a lively rock day, which raised €4,200 for the Hospiz Wohld. Thus, the premiere was a clear success.
Looking Back at the 2025 Premiere
The first edition of the Fight Cancer Festival was a complete success for the organizers. Around 200 visitors came to Gut Blockshagen in Mielkendorf on June 14, 2025, to celebrate a day full of rock music – and at the same time, to send a clear signal of solidarity with cancer patients.
The €4,200 in donations generated by the festival went entirely to the Hospiz Wohld near Kiel and laid the foundation for the planned second edition in June 2026. The initiators have set up the festival in a personal context: one of the organizers is personally affected by cancer, which lent the festival a special authenticity.
