The 22nd edition of the Fichtelgebirge Marathon took place in July 2025 in Bad Alexandersbad. With Marathon, Half Marathon, and 10 km run around the Kösseine Massif, the largest running event in the Fichtelgebirge once again attracted numerous runners.
The 2025 Fichtelgebirge Marathon, as the 22nd edition, took place in July 2025 with start and finish at the Schlossterrassen in Bad Alexandersbad. As usual, the three distances Marathon (42 km), Half Marathon (21 km), and 10 km run were available.
The challenging routes around the Kösseine Massif on forest and hiking trails once again confirmed the event's reputation as the largest running event in the Fichtelgebirge.
