Overview

The 2025 Feuertanz Festival drew around 5,000 visitors to Abenberg Castle – medieval rock concerts, a medieval market, fire acrobatics, and a knight's feast marked the weekend. With bands like In Extremo, Subway To Sally, dArtagnan, and Corvus Corax, the 24th edition reaffirmed the festival's reputation as one of Germany's most important medieval rock gatherings. Tickets sold out well in advance.

The Feuertanz Festival 2025 was held over a weekend in June 2025 at Abenberg Castle in the Roth district. The organizer was Concertbüro Franken. As usual, around 5,000 medieval rock fans from all over Germany and neighboring countries flocked to the medieval hilltop castle in Middle Franconia.

The stage featured the scene's regular guests – In Extremo, Subway To Sally, dArtagnan, and Corvus Corax – supplemented by bands from the folk, metal, and medieval rock genres. Concurrently, artisans, jugglers, and fire performers transformed the castle terraces into a full medieval market. The success of the 2025 festival laid the groundwork for the sold-out anniversary edition in 2026.
