Overview

The Mooswiese 2025 ran from September 26th to 30th — five classic festival days at the end of summer, with Pflasterwalzer on Saturday, parade on Sunday, and closing fireworks on Tuesday evening. Beer and wine tents, amusement park, and agricultural machinery exhibition as always; Sunday shopping in the old town. Organizer: City of Feuchtwangen.

The 2025 edition followed the familiar format of the Feuchtwangen Wiesenkirchweih: opening parade on Friday, Pflasterwalzer on Saturday, grand parade with dozens of floats and traditional costume groups on Sunday, family day on Monday, and closing fireworks on Tuesday evening. As usual, the Mooswiese 2025 attracted around 200,000 visitors from Middle Franconia and Tauberfranken.

The festival is considered the most important Wiesenkirchweih in the districts of Ansbach and Würzburg — a hallmark of Feuchtwangen alongside the high-culture Kreuzgangspiele in summer. The combination of classic folk festival activities, agricultural machinery exhibition, and a grand parade makes the Mooswiese a regionally renowned destination for the Wiesenkirchweih tradition.
