Edition 2025 — Fête de la Musique Mierendorff-INSEL

In 2025, the Mierendorff-INSEL again participated in the Berlin-wide Fête de la Musique day. On June 21, several bands played at Mierendorffplatz from afternoon until evening, curated by the neighborhood office and district coordination. As back then, the location was considered a Greener Fête site with a reduced ecological footprint.

The 2025 edition followed the classic island format: Folk-Pop, Flamenco sets, Folk-Rock, and a DJ set for the dance finale. The audience was a mix of residents, families, and Berlin festival-goers who specifically seek out the smaller, curated locations of the Fête de la Musique.

Over the years, the Mierendorff-INSEL has established itself as one of Charlottenburg's most distinctive Fête locations – not through size, but through a consistent mix of music, neighborhood life, and a commitment to sustainability. The 2025 edition confirmed this profile.
