In 2025, the Griesstätt Volunteer Fire Brigade did not hold a major founding festival — this is reserved for the anniversary year 2026 for its 155th birthday. As every year, the association was present in village life with exercises, operational duty, and smaller association events, and prepared for the big festival week.
Unlike in 2026, no full-evening fire brigade founding festival took place in Griesstätt in 2025. The Griesstätt Volunteer Fire Brigade focused on its regular duties — operations, training, and exercises — as well as on preparing for the big 155th-anniversary celebration in June 2026.
As in many Bavarian villages, the fire brigade is an integral part of association life even without a major festival and participates in village events. The actual festival week will then consolidate the association's activities into a six-day highlight in 2026.
