In March 2025, Festspielfrühling Rügen once again brought ten days of chamber music to special venues on the island – from the Marstall Putbus and churches to prominent locations on Rügen. The spring festival of the Festspiele Mecklenburg-Vorpommern reaffirmed its status as the island's musical season opener.

Looking Back at Festspielfrühling 2025

In 2025, the Festspielfrühling Rügen once again transformed the Baltic Sea island into a concert hall for about ten days in March. At venues spread across the island – with the Marstall Putbus as the central location – international chamber musicians presented a packed program.

The festival once again underscored its concept: world-class chamber music in locations that are themselves part of the experience. In 2026, Festspielfrühling will follow from March 13 to 22 under the artistic direction of Timothy Ridout.
