Overview

The 2025 season of the Festspiele MV in Fürstenhagen was part of the 34th festival season in the state. Classical ensembles performed between July and September in the Fürstenhagen Church and the Alte Schule, Daniel Schmidthaler's star-rated restaurant.

The 2025 concert season of the Festspiele Mecklenburg-Vorpommern in Fürstenhagen followed the proven dual structure of church concerts and culinary concerts at the Alte Schule. Throughout the summer, classical ensembles performed in the idyllic village church and the star-rated gastronomy of the Alte Schule restaurant (Zur Alten Schule 5, 17258 Fürstenhagen).

For years, the Festspiele Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, with around 190 concerts at 80 venues between mid-June and mid-September, has been one of Europe's largest classical music festivals. Fürstenhagen is one of the festival's southwestern venues on the border with Brandenburg and part of the event route through the Mecklenburg Lake District.
