Overview

As every year, the 2025 Festive Concerts offered eight concert evenings in the Baroque Hall of Walderbach. Chamber music, piano recitals, baroque music, and choir performances alternated throughout the months – the series, now over thirty years old, is a fixture in the classical music calendar of the northern Oberpfalz.

The 2025 concert season also followed the established format of eight events: concert evenings from spring to Christmas, all held in the Baroque Hall of the Walderbach Monastery with its Otto Gebhard frescoes. Organized by the Cultural Department of the District of Cham and the Municipality of Walderbach.

As in previous years, the repertoire ranged from solo and duo performances to string and wind ensembles, as well as piano and choral evenings – a deliberately broad program design that has remained true to the series' profile for over three decades.
