The 2025 Festival of Hamburg Playhouses took place on the last day of the summer holidays in the Wallanlagen / Planten un Blomen. Six hours of hands-on activities with games, workshops, and stage shows filled the central park – free for all families.
Spielfest 2025 – Review
On the last day of the 2025 Hamburg summer holidays, families from all over the Hanseatic city gathered in the Wallanlagen of Planten un Blomen. The Hamburg Playhouses celebrated their birthday with a six-hour free children's festival – featuring movement games, creative workshops, a stage programme, and interactive stations.
The strong turnout confirmed the importance of the Hamburg Playhouse movement as non-commercial child work in the city. Based on this, the 2026 edition was again scheduled for the last day of the holidays.
