Edition 2025 — Festival-Mediaval

The 2025 edition of the Festival-Mediaval took place from September 12th to 14th, 2025, on the Goldberg in Selb and, as a Gothic Special, was dedicated to the dark scene. For the first time under the direction of Admiral Ulf, the festival expanded its program to include Gothic bands and suitable workshops, combining dark sounds with historical flair and the usual medieval market.

In 2025, the Festival-Mediaval celebrated a special edition as a Gothic Special: in addition to the usual medieval and folk program, selected Gothic bands and thematic workshops were added. It was also the first edition under the new direction of Ulf Schertel (Admiral Ulf), after founder Bläcky handed over responsibility after more than 15 years.

The headliners were ASP, VNV Nation, and Wind Rose. The rest of the lineup included Diary of Dreams, Goethes Erben, Letzte Instanz, QNTAL, Mila Mar, End of Green, Heiter bis Folkig, The Longest Johns, and The BlackBeers, among others. The medieval market, camp life, and family program rounded off the weekend.
