Overview

The 14th Festival of Brass Music took place on May 3 and 4, 2025, in Bad Neualbenreuth. Eight ensembles from Germany, Austria, and Slovakia performed over two days on the festival grounds on Tirschenreuther Straße. The festival tent was sold out months in advance. The organizer remained Musikverein Ernestgrün e.V.

The 14th edition in 2025 continued the success of previous years and was once again among the highlights of the Upper Palatinate's brass music calendar. Saturday evening from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM featured eight top ensembles from three countries – a continuous concert evening with a Bohemian-Moravian repertoire that filled the festival tent, which had been sold out long before the festival date (Onetz reporting).

Friday evening offered a dress rehearsal by Blaskapelle Ernestgrün starting at 7 PM, followed by the Grecher Band from 9 PM. Festival beer, cuisine, and the local atmosphere of the festival tent in the spa town of Bad Neualbenreuth made the event once again a classic of the Upper Palatinate spring brass music season.
