Three summer evenings with live music, crossover sound, and the sporty Teichenlauf
Three days of live music, a summer run, and the ambiance of a festival meadow surrounded by water — the Fest an den Teichen Holzminden embodies a relaxed summer atmosphere in the Weserbergland. The pond area within the town provides the ideal backdrop for a festival that attracts the entire region.
On Friday, June 26, 2026, bands will kick things off with classic 1950s Rock'n'Roll and a program full of 80s and 90s hits. The audience, settling down with picnic blankets and folding chairs along the ponds, will experience an evening of music perfect for dancing and singing along.
Saturday, June 27, showcases the musical diversity of the region. With Rock, Crossover, and Hip-Hop, Bandmanufaktur and GoGorillas, among others, will perform. Both acts are firmly rooted in the Holzminden music scene and will bring a young, energetic crowd to the ponds.
Sunday, June 28, is dedicated to the sporting highlight: the Teichenlauf. Hobby runners will compete over various distances around the pond area. The run concludes the festival weekend, combining physical activity with the family-friendly atmosphere of the festival.
The Holzminden City Marketing invites everyone to all three festival days with free admission. Food stalls and beverage stands will be available on-site for refreshments. The festival thus offers an accessible invitation to all generations.
The 2026 edition continues the successful three-part structure of the festival: two evenings of music and one sports Sunday. Bandmanufaktur and GoGorillas are confirmed for Saturday evening; the full lineup will be announced by Holzminden City Marketing in advance.
Teichanlage Holzminden, 37603 Holzminden.
