Premiere 2025 — The Restart After 50 Years
The traditional Großbottwar street festival had enlivened the city center for 50 years, but in 2025, the festival was restructured into a new concept: The new "Fest am Bach" moved to the spacious open grounds between the Harzberghalle and Wunnensteinhalle — with better safety conditions, more space, and direct proximity to the "Stadt am Bach" leisure area with a pumptrack, climbing wall, and zipline.
The premiere from September 5th to 7th, 2025, kicked off on Friday with DJ Lorenzo from 6 PM, on Saturday at 4 PM with the official opening and the Großbottwar Music Association from 4:30 PM, and on Sunday at 10:30 AM with a church service, followed by harmonica orchestras and accordion ensembles. Nine clubs offered culinary specialties, including the traditional Swabian "Eselsohren" alongside Italian pizza and vegetarian options. The children's flea market on Sunday rounded off the program.
