FENN DE LA MUSIQUE – Fête de la Musique in Fennpfuhlpark

With the 2025 edition, the Lichtenberg district opened its second cultural summer – a format that has bundled the events of the district's cultural institutions annually since 2024, from June 21st to the end of September. The FENN DE LA MUSIQUE opening by the water of Fennpfuhl attracted residents and guests from all over the district. Local bands and solo artists performed on the lake terrace stage, along with participatory activities for families and a drinks and snacks stand.

District Mayor Martin Schaefer emphasized in his opening speech Lichtenberg's status as a "vibrant cultural and creative centre" in Berlin. The format proved to be a low-threshold neighbourhood festival that reaches exactly the audience that a classic Berlin city centre concert format does not reach – residents of several generations from the immediate neighbourhood, with journeys of less than 10 minutes to the venue.
