In 2025, there was no Feierabendmarkt on Johann-Vaillant-Platz yet — the premiere in the South district is planned for 2026. The Stadtmarketing strategy to expand the Feierabendmärkte to all Remscheid districts was prepared in 2025.
In 2025, Feierabendmärkte took place in Lennep, Lüttringhausen, the city center, and Hasten. The new location in the South district at Johann-Vaillant-Platz is an expansion of the concept for 2026 — a result of the positive response to the after-work market format in other districts.
