Edition 2025 — Fehmarn Marathon

In 2025, the Fehmarn Marathon also kicked off in early September. As every year, the five-part distance format (Marathon, Half Marathon, 12 km, 5 km, Mini Run) attracted runners from all over Northern Germany to the Baltic Sea island. Start and finish at the Inselschule sports field in Burg auf Fehmarn, organised by SV Fehmarn von 1879 e.V.

The 2025 edition followed the proven format with a start at 9:30 AM and circuit courses through the eastern part of the island. Asphalt and dyke sections alternated, with a central sports field area in Burg ensuring a relaxed atmosphere before and after the run.

As in previous years, the half marathon attracted the largest number of participants, followed by the 5 km run for families and hobby runners.
