The eighth edition of feel.jazz took place in February 2025 at Hafenklang on Große Elbstraße. The multi-sensory concept of live jazz, light art, and performances established itself as one of the most distinctive voices in Hamburg's jazz scene — complemented by the radically open Pay-What-You-Can model.

Looking Back at 2025

The 2025 edition confirmed the festival's concept: two evenings, two stages at Hafenklang, ten live bands from the broad spectrum of jazz, light art, and performances between sets, concluding with a DJ after-show until 4 AM. Pay-What-You-Can as the pricing model. The festival once again positioned itself as a deliberate political response to the question of accessibility in high culture.

Located in the Altona borough, directly on the Elbe riverbank, Hafenklang is one of the city's iconic live venues — feel.jazz has been using this format since 2017, shaping its own Hamburg jazz identity.
