Edition 2025 — Fassdaubenrennen Tennenbronn

The 2025 Fassdaubenrennen Tennenbronn took place in mid-January at the Gästetreff Tennenbronn in Schramberg. Teams of three competed on historic barrel staves, with the slowest time per team counting for the ranking. There was also the traditional costume competition. Organizer: Erzknappen Tennenbronn — the local traditional association preserving the Black Forest mining heritage.

Fassdaubenrennen 2025

The 2025 edition of the Fassdaubenrennen took place, as always, in mid-January at the Gästetreff Tennenbronn. With wintery snow conditions, the teams in full splendor could race down the slope on barrel staves. Dozens of teams from the Schwarzwald-Baar district and the wider region participated.

The Erzknappen Tennenbronn organized the race with their usual humor — pirates, Fasnet spirits, cocktail glasses on legs, and artfully costumed teams created a festive atmosphere. Mulled wine and Black Forest snacks were served in the festival tent.
