Edition 2025 — Farafina Afrika Festival
The Farafina Afrika Festival 2025 took place in May 2025 in Regensburg. Organized by the German-African Cultural Association Farafina e.V., the festival offered live music from Africa, drum performances, dance, a market with arts and crafts, African food, and a children's program. Admission was free. The 2025 edition prepared for the move to Stadtpark in 2026.
Looking Back at 2025
The 2025 edition followed the proven concept: three days of African culture with live music, drums, dance, market, culinary delights, and a family program with free admission. The festival further established itself as an intercultural meeting event in Regensburg and moved to the larger Stadtpark in 2026.
