Overview
In 2025, the Schützen Verein Lehe again invited guests to its Familienfest on August 7 at the shooting range on Siebenbergensweg in Bremerhaven-Lehe. Children could test their skills at numerous stations — light rifle, archery, blowpipe, straw shooting, can tossing, and mouse trap. A cake buffet with coffee, popcorn, and cotton candy provided refreshments, followed by the traditional communal barbecue in the evening. The festival, held annually since 2002, remained a warm, family-friendly meeting point and highlighted the open, community-oriented side of the traditional shooting club.
The 2025 edition on August 7 followed the established tradition since 2002: a sociable family afternoon at the shooting range on Siebenbergensweg. Game stations with light rifles, bows, blowpipes, and straw shooting, as well as can tossing and mouse trap, were available for children. Coffee and cake buffet, popcorn and cotton candy, and the communal barbecue in the evening rounded off the festival, making it a popular summer event in Bremerhaven-Lehe.
