In 2025, the Familien-Stadtfest once again followed the motto “Family is where the heart calls home!” and adhered to the proven concept: accessible activities for children between 2 and 14 years old, a stage program with live music, and culinary offerings supported by clubs and local restaurateurs.

The connection between the city festival and youth welfare makes the Liebenwalde format unusual. Brandenburger Kinderland — Die Jugendhilfe GmbH sees the festival as part of its work with families and as an annual meeting point for the town.
