Overview

The seventh edition of Explore Science Bremen took place in September 2025 in Burgerpark around the Markusbrunnen. For three days, families, school classes, and the curious could experiment at interactive stations, participate in workshops, and experience stage shows.

In 2025, Explore Science Bremen continued its tradition of offering an open science festival for everyone in Bremen's Burgerpark. Around 25 interactive stations, twelve workshops, more than 40 hands-on slots, and competitions made science tangible.

The Klaus Tschira Foundation, as the organizer, pursued its goal as always: to provide children and families with accessible entry into STEM topics. Admission was free, and the weather cooperated – the open park atmosphere attracted thousands of visitors.

Competitions were aimed at school classes and individual participants who competed in predefined tasks. The stage shows ranged from live experiments and science talks to playful mathematics performances. The Bremer Bürgerparkverein, as the host, also accompanied the festival with its own offerings.
