Overview

Already in 2025, the Erlangen Schlossgarten transformed into a festively illuminated stage on the last Saturday in June. Around 6,000 guests experienced live music, FAU science stations, and the traditional fireworks at midnight.

The 2025 Erlangen Schlossgartenfest continued the tradition maintained since 1954: on the last Saturday in June, Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg welcomed around 6,000 guests from university, politics, business, and society to the baroque Schlossgarten. Several live bands, from classical dance music to big band, jazz, and funk, performed in the garden, while interactive science stations presented current FAU research. The grand fireworks display at midnight was the highlight, as usual. Evening wear and an elegant setting also characterized the festive summer night in the Middle Franconian university city in 2025.

Prices

Admission was exclusively by ticket, with reduced rates for university members and students.
