Overview

In 2025, the Erika-Fuchs-Haus in Schwarzenbach an der Saale also opened its annual special exhibition with a vernissage in the spring. As usual, Germany's only comic museum combined the collection around Erika Fuchs with contemporary comic art and linguistic engagement.

The annual opening receptions at the Erika-Fuchs-Haus mark the start of the museum's respective special exhibition. In 2025, the museum used the occasion to open new rooms and themes and to engage in dialogue with comic artists, curators, and visitors.

The Erika-Fuchs-Haus cultivates the legacy of its namesake – the influential Disney translator Erika Fuchs – as a vibrant engagement with comic art, translation, and linguistic wit, rather than a mere memorial repository.
