Overview
The 24th edition of the Erfurter Drachenboot Cup 2025 took place at Alperstedter See. Club Maritim Erfurt once again organized sprint and middle-distance races for fun and pro classes, as well as the Sparkassen-Schüler-Drachenbootcup for junior teams — one of the largest water sports events on the Thuringian sports calendar.
2025 Review
In 2025, the Cup once again attracted hundreds of paddlers and thousands of spectators to Alperstedter See. The Sparkassen-Schüler-Drachenbootcup, as a junior format, confirmed its importance for the region's schools. With the 24th edition, the Cup approached the major anniversary in 2026 — the club management already announced special promotions for the 25th edition.
