Edition 2025 — Christmas Market Erfurt
The 175th edition of the Erfurt Christmas Market 2025 once again transformed the Domplatz into one of Germany's most impressive Christmas backdrops. With its illuminated giant tree, pyramid, nativity scene, and around 200 stalls, the market attracted hundreds of thousands of visitors from home and abroad for four weeks.
The 2025 edition marked the market's 175th anniversary. As every year, locals and visitors gathered against the unique backdrop of the Cathedral and St. Severus Church to enjoy regional crafts, mulled wine, and Thuringian specialties.
Concerts in the two churches, the appearance of the Christ Child, and a diverse stage program rounded off the market events.
