Festival for Jazz and More

Enjoy Jazz was founded in 1999 and has since become one of Europe's most important jazz festivals. The subtitle 'Festival for Jazz and More' programmatically describes its open orientation: in addition to classic jazz, experimental formats, world music, singer-songwriters, electronic styles, and programs on the fringes of jazz are included.

Three Cities – One Festival

Enjoy Jazz is consistently conceived as a regional festival in the Rhine-Neckar metropolitan region. Concerts take place simultaneously in Heidelberg, Mannheim, and Ludwigshafen – at different venues, each with its own profile. The festival thus utilizes the cultural infrastructure of the entire metropolitan region and avoids concentration on a single city.

Ludwigshafen Venues

In Ludwigshafen, concerts in 2026 will take place in three venues: Kulturzentrum dasHaus – a distinguished venue for jazz and electronic music – BASF Feierabendhaus, and BASF Gesellschaftshaus. Both BASF venues are traditional concert halls for BASF's cultural activities.

Confirmed Concerts in Ludwigshafen 2026

Three concerts in Ludwigshafen have already been confirmed. The [Ahmed] Quartett will perform on October 9th at dasHaus – an internationally acclaimed ensemble that interprets the musical legacies of Arab composers in a modern jazz context. The Pablo Ziegler Trio will perform on October 21st at dasHaus with Nuevo Tango and Argentine jazz tradition. Melody Gardot – one of the most popular contemporary jazz and singer-songwriter artists – will perform on November 5th at Kulturzentrum dasHaus.

Over Five Weeks of Programming

With a run from October 2 to November 7, Enjoy Jazz 2026 spans five weeks of programming. A total of over 50 concerts and events will be offered across the three festival cities. More than 20,000 visitors per year make Enjoy Jazz one of the largest jazz festivals in the German-speaking world.
