The 9th edition of the Embrace Berlin Tango Festival took place in May 2025 at the central Berlin tango venues – Ballhaus Rixdorf, Tangoloft, La Catedral, Roter Salon of the Volksbühne. Workshops for beginners and advanced dancers, two grand milongas, performances by international tango couples, and the established format without central festival registration.
Embrace Berlin 2025 – Established Berlin Tango Weekend
The 9th edition in 2025 also brought international tango couples to Berlin. Over seven days, workshops, grand milongas, and performances took place at Ballhaus Rixdorf, Tangoloft, La Catedral, and the Roter Salon of the Volksbühne. The open format without a festival pass — all workshops and milongas bookable individually — remains the festival's hallmark.
