Electronic music festival with regional wines at the Deutsches Eck — Prologue with Dominik Eulberg
Electronic Wine is one of the most spectacular event formats of the Koblenz Wine Festival. Unlike traditional wine festivals, Electronic Wine focuses on the combination of wine enjoyment and electronic music. The event is organized by the City of Koblenz in cooperation with Koblenz-Touristik.
The festival takes place directly at the Deutsches Eck, overlooking the confluence of the Moselle into the Rhine and the monumental equestrian statue of Kaiser Wilhelm I. An extraordinary open-air stage in the Upper Middle Rhine Valley UNESCO World Heritage site. Stages, wine stands, and lounge areas are spread across several floors and under the open sky.
Instead of beer and cocktails, the wine and sparkling wine stands serve classic Riesling, Spätburgunder, Müller-Thurgau, and sparkling wine from the local growing regions of Mosel, Mittelrhein, and Ahr. The idea: to place regional wine culture in a modern context and appeal to a new generation of wine lovers. The concept has proven to be a great success since its first edition and is considered a model for similar formats in other wine regions.
The prologue on June 18th belongs to Dominik Eulberg with his unique biodiversity show, in which he combines nature sounds with electronic music. On June 19th and 20th, over twenty DJs from the national and international scene will perform. Highlights of the lineup include Roman Flügel, Cinthie, Kid Simius, ADA, and Caren Callas.
The festival opens on Thursday evening with the prologue by Dominik Eulberg, who presents his acclaimed fusion of nature sounds, biology, and electronic music. Friday and Saturday feature the regular festival days with a dense DJ program running late into the night.
