Overview
In 2025, the Eisenach City Festival once again transformed the city center of the Wartburg town into an «Erlebnismeile». Live music, a car show, street food, and a Sunday shopping event attracted thousands of visitors to the city center. The format of a city festival combined with an industry trade show once again confirmed its success as an important spring event in the Wartburg district.
The 2025 edition continued the proven concept. Eisenach bands, regional car dealers, street food stalls, and hands-on activities for families characterized the Sunday afternoon. The Sunday shopping from 1 PM brought additional visitors to the city center — a cooperation between the business association and the city that strengthens Eisenach as a retail location. The city festival thus remained an exemplary model of cooperation between an event and local retail.
