Overview

The Eichstätt Old Town Festival took place in 2025 from Friday, July 4th, to Sunday, July 6th. It was opened on Friday at 5:30 PM at Domplatz by Mayor Josef Grienberger together with delegations from Eichstätt's partner cities. Stages were located at Domplatz, Marktplatz, Leonrodplatz, and Posthof, among others; performances included Molotov and Key West Rider, choirs, and a student orchestra in the Spiegelsaal.

From July 4th to 6th, 2025, the Eichstätt Old Town Festival filled the episcopal city with music, enjoyment, and culture. The opening took place on Friday evening at 5:30 PM at Domplatz with the mayor and guests from the partner cities.

On the stages around Domplatz, Marktplatz, Leonrodplatz, and Posthof, local bands like Molotov and Key West Rider performed, as did choirs, dance groups, and a student orchestra. Partner cities from France and Italy presented cheeses, wines, and specialties, while the children's program offered a carousel, archery, and basketball.
