Festival Mile through the City Centre

The Edenkoben city centre, with its historic buildings, Edenkoben Town Hall, the church, and narrow alleys, forms the backdrop for the Stadtfest. During the three days, the festival mile will be alive with several stages, refreshment stands, snack bars, and market stalls. Palatinate specialities, draught beer, wine from Edenkoben and surrounding vintners, fries, sweets, crêpes – the gastronomic offer covers the entire spectrum of a Palatinate Volksfest.

Music, Entertainment, Culture

The stage programme includes live bands from the region, cover acts, Palatinate dialect music, acoustic sets, and DJ sets late into the night. In addition, dance performances, club presentations, sports demonstrations, and art events are part of the programme – the Stadtfest is also a club festival where the Edenkoben club scene presents itself.

Sunday with Open Shops and Shopping

The Edenkoben Stadtfest traditionally includes a Sunday with open shops. The shops in the city centre open their doors, many offering special promotions, discounts, or small tastings. Thus, the Stadtfest combines festivities with city marketing – a format that enlivens the Edenkoben city centre and attracts visitors from the surrounding area.

Edenkoben in Summer

Edenkoben is a vibrant tourist destination on the Südliche Weinstraße in the summer. The Stadtfest falls within the peak festival season in mid/late August and complements the parallel programmes in neighbouring towns – Rhodt Wine Festival at the end of July/beginning of August, Hainfeld Kirchweih (church fair) in mid-August, Burrweiler Wine Festival at the end of August. Those spending the weekend in Edenkoben have a packed programme to choose from throughout the region.
