The 46th Duisburger Akzente in 2025 continued the tradition of the NRW state cultural festival. Four weeks of programming with theater, music, literature, dance, and art at dozens of venues across the city. The festival once again confirmed its position as one of Germany's most important urban cultural festivals and laid the thematic groundwork for the 47th edition in 2026.
The 46th Akzente in 2025 drew thousands of visitors to Duisburg's venues. With the 'City as Stage' format and a strongly content-oriented program, the festival has maintained its distinctive character. Kulturbetriebe Duisburg was already planning the program for the 47th edition in 2026, focusing on 'Encounters'.
